About me
Lindsay Lindberg, Ph.D., is a dance educator, arts advocate, educational researcher, and learning scientist based in Los Angeles. She earned a PhD from UCLA’s School of Education and Information Studies, and is a graduate of NYU’s Master of Arts in Dance Education. Lindsay has been a K-12 dance educator in New York City and Los Angeles, and teaches the dance methods course at CSUN for the new dance credential program. Additionally, she currently serves as a postdoctoral researcher at UCLA, lecturer at Loyola Marymount University, and as an arts and education consultant. She has helped develop and implement many arts-based K-12 education projects in schools, museums, and other professional development programs in Los Angeles. Her research uses dance-based qualitative methods and looks critically at the role of the body in education. She also currently serves as Co-President for the California Dance Education Association.
