About me
An award-winning, respected leader in the fields of journalism and public relations, Cathi Douglas is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America, received its highest honor – the Distinguished Service Award – and served as president of both Orange County PRSA and IABC.
Upon graduating from Cal State Fullerton as a journalism major, she was recognized as Outstanding Communications Undergraduate of the Year. She is an inaugural member of the School of Communications Wall of Fame and a lifetime member of the CSUF Alumni Association.
Prior to founding her company, Cathi served 14 years as founding editor of Titan, the university’s nationally recognized magazine. Previously she was the public relations director at Chapman University.
Her work has appeared in publications such as the Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, San Diego Union-Tribune and Orange County Register, and she has provided comprehensive consulting, editing, and writing for clients in higher education and other industries. .
