 The presentation is a discussion on college student loneliness as well as a proposal for a new HCOM class, known as Communication and Loneliness. In this presentation, we will unpack the research findings on how loneliness impacts college students, its contributing factors, and solutions that ultimately leads to the proposal of the new loneliness class. This presentation has a strong emphasis on interpersonal communication, mental health, and college student success.
